  • Blackstar Artist 15 Valve Amp

    Blackstar Artist 15 Valve Amp

Artist Series Guitar Amplifiers Drawing on decades of valve amplifier design experience, the Artist Series delivers the ultimate clean and classic overdrive tones. Simplicity and purity, coupled with flexibility. The New Classic At the heart of the Artist Series lies a unique power amplifier design that harnesses the tonal qualities of the revered 6L6 valve. By carefully optimising the key power amplifier parameters of the Artist Series, the Blackstar design team has created an amplifier which has the outstanding dynamics normally associated with a USA 6L6 design, whilst adding the chime and shimmer of a classic British Class A amplifier. Pro features such as footswitching, reverb, master volume and effects loop augment the sonic experience, making the product completely equipped for today’s exacting performance requirements. As with all Blackstar products, reliability is paramount. The Artist Series has been subject to countless hours of endurance testing, both in the laboratory and in live performance meaning you can rely on the Artist Series night after night in the most demanding gig environments. This flexibility, tone and quality is delivered with a visual elegance worthy of the world’s greatest stages and performers. From the metallic thread in the classic paper fret to the embossed Blackstar detail on the luxury leather carrying strap, nothing has been left to chance in delivering the Artist Series - The New Classic. Sonically Classic Artist Series combines the articulate tonal dynamics normally associated with a USA 6L6 design, with the beautiful chime and shimmer of a classic British Class A amplifier. Visually Classic Attention has been paid to every detail of the Artist Series’ look, from the metallic thread in the classic paper fret to the embossed Blackstar detail on the luxury leather carrying strap. The Artist Series’ two channels offer the widest possible palette of classic tones and each channel can be set as either a clean channel or a classic overdrive channel. With the emphasis on simplicity and sonic purity, every feature has been refined to allow a musician total freedom in shaping their own sound. Powered by 6L6 Valves The 6L6 power valve is revered for its big, bold American clean tones. The Artist Series runs its 6L6s in an open loop configuration further accentuating the resonant bottom end and chiming treble response. This gives the Artist power amplifier a unique sound and feel, lying somewhere between the USA sound you would expect and a British Class A tone. A further benefit of this open loop design is that the increased gain produces more singing power amp distortion – the most natural and desirable of all overdrives. Perfect for Guitar Pedals Artist Series are the perfect amps to run your pedalboard into. Their beautifully articulate clean tones have a clarity and natural response that will deliver every nuance of your playing. As both channels are configurable for clean you can have two different tonal options to deliver your pedalboard’s sound at the press of a footswitch. Clean and Crunch Flexibility Channel 1 Channel 1’s stripped down channel design is simplicity itself. The Volume and Tone controls offer just the right amount of adjustment on drive level and treble frequencies to drive the power amplifier to the optimum level, depending on your style and sound preference. Here the emphasis is on signal integrity and hence the nuances of your guitar, pedal and playing style will cut through with brilliant clarity. Channel 2 Channel 2 offers a new level of clean and crunch flexibility. Featuring Blackstar’s patented ISF control, the widest possible variation in tone is available. Set counter-clockwise the ISF configures the tone stack to a US response, tightening the low mids and emphasising the treble and presence frequencies. Moving the control clockwise, continuously varies the tone towards a more British response, where the low mids are emphasised for a warm, ‘woody’ clean or crunch reminiscent of classic British amplifiers from years gone by. The ISF control allows you to infinitely adjust the response of the tone control network between any of the traditional voicings in a way that has never before been possible. The whole tone stack response (i.e. Bass, Middle and Treble) is moved yet the tone controls remain fully interactive, just like in a regular tone stack. The ISF control is continuously variable between all the traditional responses allowing you to effectively design your own sound. Natural Sounding Digital Reverb Artist amps feature a completely natural sounding digital reverb, which is outstandingly musical on both clean and crunch tones and raises the benchmark for guitar amplifier specific reverb design. This exclusive Blackstar design responds beautifully to both the dynamic nature of clean sounds and the harmonically rich textures of crunch and high gain overdrive sounds. Some of the best studio reverb units in the world were used as references for developing the voicing. The Artist 30 also has a Reverb Dark/Light switch that allows the overall reverb characteristics to be modified to suit different tastes and playing styles. In the Dark position the reverb is voiced to have a warm and mellow quality. When the Light position is selected the reverb has a brighter quality with more zing on the reverb tail. Dual Level Effects Loop Artist Series amps are perfect for front-ending pedals. If you prefer to use the gain on your Artist amp then a dual level effects loop on the rear panel allows you to connect effects pedals or other professional equipment using the return and send connections. • Blackstar HT Venue Club 40 MKII Guitar Amp

Blackstar HT Venue Club 40 MKII Guitar Amp

Equipped with 2 channels and 4 footswitchable voices the HT Club 40 MkII is the ideal gigging valve amp for club sized venues. The 40W EL34 driven power amplifier has groundbreaking clean punch and dynamics with expanded tone controls that will easily cut through in a full band situation. Switching to the amazing ISF equipped overdrive channel accesses a further two modes - 'classic crunch' and 'super saturated lead'. The Power Reduction feature allows further flexibility, by allowing the guitarist to attenuate to 10 percent of the 40 watts of power, also making the HT Club 40 MkII perfect for the home and studio use. Innovative 40 Watt valve combo 2 x ECC83 and 2 x EL34 valves Two footswitchable channels Four footswitchable voices Boutique clean channel with expanded tone controls High gain overdrive channel Patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) Power Reduction down to 10 percent of full Wattage Master Volume Digital Reverb with Dark/Light switch Speaker Emulated output with 1x12/4x12 voicing Effects loop with effects level switch USB for recording 1x12” Celestion speaker Footcontroller included Compact size for ultimate portability Cool boutique styling The Valve Amp Redefined The stunning next generation of HT Venue valve amplifiers. After more than 3 years of intensive R&D and market research, Blackstar are proud to release the stunning next generation of HT Venue valve amplifiers. HT Venue MkII takes this award-winning line and elevates it to a new level of sonic performance, whilst adding every major enhancement that guitarists have requested; resulting in a massively flexible feature set that is still intuitive and musician-friendly. The mission was “simple”: improve on the sonic references of the best vintage and new valve amps on the planet, in the way Blackstar is renowned for and combine the sounds into a cohesive, creative product. What's New? • Ground-breaking new Clean channel • Richer, responsive Overdrives • All modes are now footswitchable • Power Reduction to turn down to 10 percent of the amp’s rated power • Professional USB recording output • Professional features including; footswitchable boost on all channels, XLR recording DI output and a newly designed in-house studio quality reverb • Compact and portable   More Refined Cleans The ground-breaking clean channel has two voices and offers the ultimate in clean tone quality and flexibility. One voice is based on a classic American circuit and the second channel is based on a classic British tone. The Voice switch reconfigures the preamp voicing, EQ and valve gain structure, as well as the power amplifier damping. This produces a clean, bright and tight but solid bass response for the American tone and a highly responsive ‘chime’ with a looser bottom for the British tone that can be pushed into a midrange overdrive when driven hard. All Clean channels now include Bass, Treble and a Voice switch. More Responsive Overdrives Boasting two richer, fuller and responsive voices on the Overdrive channels, the high gain voices are tight and focused, drawing on the original award-winning HT Venue Series. These two voices provide a broad palette of overdriven tones. When switching between channels, the amplifier will recall the specific Voice setting last used on that channel. The Overdrive voices are characterised by a tone which is high in gain, but avoids any of the detached top-end ‘fizz’ often found in other designs. This is a result of unique preamplifier and power amplifier shaping techniques, which also benefit the player in the way the overdrives clean up beautifully as the guitar volume is reduced. Even at the most extreme settings, the Overdrive voices remain natural sounding. More Flexibility All modes are footswitchable, resulting in the widest possible selection of stage accessible valve tones and footswitchable boost on all channels. The supplied 2-way footswitch enables the selection of the Clean and Overdrive channels, and the two voices on each Channel. The optional 5-way footcontroller enables instant access to all channels and voices, plus the global boost function and Reverb switching for maximum control. More Control A switchable power reduction circuit has been included with the HT Venue MkII models giving reliable, transparent attenuation down to 10 percent of the amp’s rated power. This means that the full tonal depth of the EL34 power stage can be enjoyed at any volume, retaining the distinctive sound of power valves working hard, making the HT Venue MkII perfect for any live or recording situation. More Pro Recording Options The simplest way to get valve tone into your recordings. The flexibility of adding a USB connector allows for sending up to 4 channels of the guitar signal, dry, preamp out and stereo emulated out into a computer for recording purposes. Two further outputs on the rear, a stereo jack socket and balanced XLR, also allow the speaker emulated signals to be connected to external devices for practicing, recording or live use. More Pro Features The patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control is unique to Blackstar Amplification and represents a major step forward in tone shaping flexibility. The ISF control shifts the response of the three control tone stack between, a US type response at one end, and at the other, a UK type response. Importantly, in between the two extremes lie an infinite number of alternative tone choices that would be otherwise unavailable. The amplifier features naturally sounding digital reverb that can be adjusted via the Reverb control on the front panel or turned on and off via the optional 5-way footcontroller. A switch on the rear panel selects between ‘Dark’ and ‘Light’. The Dark setting is based on a room reverb and the Light setting is based on a plate reverb. More Compact and Portable All the HT Venue MkII products have been reengineered to make them more practical and portable.
